Columbia beats BST away

The girls’ and boys’ teams went to BST on the 5th hoping to extend their winning streaks. The girls were a little nervous during the first game and came out sluggish, losing 25 – 23. The second game was an entertaining one that saw the girls start to play their game and come out on top 25 – 20. The deciding game was one of the best that the girls played this year and saw them come out on top 15 – 7. The girls came out on top 2 sets to 1. A.F., T.F. and S.M. let the time in serves. M.K., Y.K. and X.T. got in a few good hits.

The boys also won their match, 2 sets to 0. The boys dominated the first game and game out on top 25 – 14. The second game saw a few more errors but still saw the boys come out with a 25 – 20 victory. M.K. and R.B. lead the team with serving. K.I. and T.W. were able to execute a short hit in the victory. Well done, boys.

With the two victories, both teams were able to wrap up 1st place in the league. Congratulations to both teams. The next game will be on November 11th at home against KAIS. This will wrap up our regular season.  (Mr.Fleming)
