Volleyball Teams Squeak by KIST, remain unbeaten

The volleyball teams made their way down to KIST last night (October 16th) and put their league unbeaten streak on the line. The girls came out flat and fell behind early in both games. However, they fought through the early troubles and squeezed out a two set victory, 27-25 and 26 – 24. The girls were lead by M.K., S.M. and T.F. in serving and X.T. and A.F. in hits. The boys started flat as well and fell behind early in game one but came back and won 25 – 23. They worked harder the second game and won handily 25 – 16. The boys were lead by K.I., M.K. and R.B. in serving and G.T. and A.A. in hits. Congratulations to both teams for starting the season 4 – 0. Let’s keep it going.

The next action for the girls in an exhibition game against ASIJ on Monday at Columbia. Come out and support the girls. Both teams will be back in action next Thursday as we travel to KAIS.
