■Message from teachers
In our Junior High School Division, we have developed new
initiatives to better serve the needs of our students. These
initiatives include implementing the Ontario Think Literacy program
in junior high school courses, and a Personal Growth and Development
Program that serves to incorporate Western Association of School and
Colleges (W.A.S.C.) mandates. In addition, we strongly believe
that a smooth transition is vital, therefore, junior high school is
a crucial period of time for our students. This leads to support in
tradition from elementary to junior high school and from junior high
to high school. These transition sessions are designed to
better inform students and parents/guardians of school life and
academic expectations at each respective level. Columbia
offers you an excellent and supporting learning environment.
We hope that more students will join us and enjoy learning.
