Application Scholarship and Financial Aid

Columbia International School admissions process is designed to allow the applicant and the School to develop clear appraisals of each other. Although students may enter at any grade level, and from any trimester, most students enter from the Summer trimester (April - July) as Japanese traditional school starts in April and ends in March.
Applications are handled on a rolling admissions basis. An entrance examination and on-campus interview (both for applicant and for his/her parents) are part of the admissions process. Language used in the interview can be either Japanese or English. Before taking the examination, all the applicants must pay a non-refundable examination fee by bank deposit. Applicants will be notified of the admission status by mail.
Columbia International School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, athletics, and other school administrative programs, including its faculty and staff recruitment.
